By design, the corporate partners of ETP are in different businesses. For this reason, ETP is interested in almost all areas of technology. The corporate partners are kept abreast of developments in the portfolios of companies and may provide non-financial assistance if needed.

The initial investment in a company will normally be in a range of $500,000 to $1.5 million. The form of investment is usually convertible preferred stock, but may also be convertible debt or common stock. Investments are made in privately held firms or in emerging public companies through private placements.

ETP invests on a worldwide basis. It currently has holdings in the U.S., Asia, Europe and Canada. Through its contacts ETP assists U.S. portfolio companies wishing to expand abroad.

• A high quality product or service.
• A large market opportunity with the potential of at least $100 million in revenues.
• Investment liquidity in 5-7 years.
• A financial return of at least five-fold.
